Metal braces are the most common type. They are made of high-grade stainless steel. Today’s metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive.

Clear braces are made of ceramic and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are a great option for teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are visually less prominent, they do require more attention to oral hygiene as ceramic braces are larger and are more brittle than their metal counterparts.

Your teeth will be scanned with a state-of-the-art iTero scanner to produce custom braces to fit the shape of your individual teeth. Invisalign is a series of clear plastic aligners that are to be worn full time to progressively straighten your teeth, similar to braces. Not only are the aligners invisible, but they can also be removed to eat or drink whatever you want during treatment.The aligners are comfortable and have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
